I took Averie down to Old Town in Temecula on the way to a visit to Aunt Wendy's house. She actually stood still for me more than once! Here's a couple of the photos! What a big girl she is!

Natalie's B-day Part 2
Gathering around the cake. What kind of cake is that you ask? Well, it is a cake shaped like Lips. Yes, I know, very strange, but it somehow worked with the theme of Hannah/Mylie/singer/need I go on? The girls had cupcakes with Hannah Montana (of course) lip gloss rings on top of them.
Present time! Cute clothes ...
Yes, it's a Hannah Montana doll! What next????
Tre-chic watch from Gran-B and Grandpa ...Thanx!
A Very Satisfied and Happy Natalie!
Well, I never intended to have a whole week pass by between Natalie's birthday post! Oops!
Anyway, I know you have been dying to see the second half... So there it is!

Natalie's Birthday Party
Outside the Restaurant "Island's" hamming it up!
Nestled in at our table ... no boys were allowed!
Natalie feeling a bit nervous about getting her ears pierced, definitely having second thoughts! But she has waited "forever" to turn 8 and finally get her ears pierced!
"Oh boy, what have I got myself into????"
HOORAY! She did it! Look at those tiny, sparkling gems!
Natalie has been planning her 8th b-day party since January it seems, but couldn't quite narrow it down to the BEST party idea until the week before her birthday. I was slightly in a panic, but at last, she came up with a "go to dinner/get her ears pierced/slumber party/donuts for breakfast" idea. I was elated when she finalized her plans. It was a ton of squeals, giggles and fun as you can see for yourselves!

Look Who's Eight!
Natalie turned 8 years old on Friday, Sept. 5th! Wow, how time flies when you look back on it! We couldn't imagine life without our little Nat. She may be petite in size, but Natalie is a giant when it comes to personality and zest for life! These are just a few of the things I love about Natalie:
1. She loves to sing... all the time... and does so beautifully.
2. She cries with me during the sad parts of movies, (i.e. Bridge to Terabithia!)
3. She is always willing to share with whomever is throwing a fit!
4. Her gorgeous chocolate brown eyes.
5. Always willing to put on a talent show in a pinch.
6. She is our family party planner, event organizer and goodie-bag maker, (and has been since she was 3!)
I could go on for days, but will stop so that everyone can get on with your daily events. I love you Natalie and I am so thankful for every minute you have blessed our lives and our home!!

Here it Goes
Well, this is my first entry on our family blog! A HUGE shout out of THANKS to you sistah, Wendy, for getting me started! You are much busier than I am!!
For all of you as of yet have not heard, my sister Wendy is amazing! She is a fabulous photographer (bluelily.squarespace.com) and was in an article in the NY Times on Sunday, and on Monday, the Today Show called her and buzzed over from Burbank to her home, to include her in a story, aired on Tuesday. Wow! It was so fun to watch! (You can see it on her blog for Bluelily.) In order to save time, I will be brief and just say it was a whirlwind. The main story is regarding a couple, Christian and Stephanie Nielson, of whom were involved in a tragic airplane crash. There story of survival is incredibly inspiring and if you haven't heard about it already, please visit cjanerun.com for updates and information. Wendy has been a fan of Stephanie's blog the "nieniedialogues" for a long time now and photographed her family in July before the accident. Wendy has been an active part in helping other hundreds of people raising money to help with medical bills. I'll update more on this later as I am out of time.
I will be posting events on the fun summer we just finished, which I realize is now over, but this is the way my life seems to be! Out of order and random!
